Payment, Subscription and Refund Policy

1. Introduction


This Payment, Subscription & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs the terms under which individuals and organizations (“Users”) access paid features of the AQURIX service operated by Absolute Research Company, registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, the User accepts this Policy as part of the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

The Policy complies with:

  • Saudi E-Commerce Law (Royal Decree No. M/126)

  • Electronic Transactions Law

  • Consumer protection regulations applicable to digital services

  • Requirements of Saudi Arabian payment service providers



2. Free Trial


2.1 Trial Duration

AQURIX provides all new Users with 7 days of free, full-feature access (“Free Trial”).


2.2 No Payment Required for Trial
  • The User may access the Trial without providing any payment information.

  • If the User voluntarily provides payment information, it will not result in any automatic charge once the Trial ends.


2.3 End of Trial
  • Access to paid functionality stops once the Trial expires.

  • No payment is collected unless the User manually selects and purchases a subscription.

  • The User may continue using limited free features (if available) or reactivate full access by purchasing a subscription.



3. Subscription Plans & Pricing


3.1 General Pricing

The standard subscription price is:
USD 30 per User per month
(or the equivalent displayed in SAR or another supported currency).

The price applies per individual User seat, unless a company purchases multiple seats.


3.2 Transparency of Pricing
  • All prices are displayed clearly at checkout.

  • Prices may include or exclude VAT depending on presentation by the payment gateway.

  • When required by Saudi regulations, VAT will be collected and indicated in the payment receipt.


3.3 Subscription Activation

A subscription is activated only when:

  1. The User manually selects a plan

  2. The User confirms the purchase

  3. The payment gateway successfully processes the transaction

No subscription will be activated automatically.



4. Payment Terms


4.1 Accepted Payment Methods

AQURIX may accept payments through:

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • Mada (KSA local payments)

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

  • STC Pay

  • Bank debit channels approved by Saudi PSPs

  • Any other method enabled by the integrated gateway

Payment methods may vary depending on the User’s region and the payment gateway.


4.2 Currency and Exchange Rates
  • Payments may be processed in USD, SAR, or other currencies, depending on gateway settings.

  • When paying in a foreign currency, exchange rates are determined by the User’s bank or payment provider.

  • AQURIX is not responsible for currency conversion fees charged by banks or issuers.


4.3 Taxes
  • Where applicable, VAT will be added according to Saudi Arabian tax laws.

  • VAT amount will be shown to the User before confirming the payment.

  • Users are responsible for verifying local tax rules in their jurisdiction if outside KSA.


4.4 Invoices and Receipts

Upon successful payment, the User automatically receives:

  • A transaction receipt

  • A tax-compliant invoice (where required)

Invoices are accessible through the User’s dashboard or via email.



5. Manual Renewal Model


5.1 No Automatic Charging

AQURIX uses manual renewal only.
This means:

  • No recurring charges

  • No automatic billing

  • No automatic renewal for any subscription period


5.2 User Responsibility for Renewal

To continue using paid services, the User must manually purchase each new month.

If no renewal occurs before the end of the current billing cycle:

  • Paid features are suspended

  • The account may revert to limited free access or be paused


5.3 Renewal Notifications

AQURIX may send reminders before expiration, but the User remains solely responsible for renewing the subscription.



6. Access Suspension and Limitations


6.1 Expiration of Paid Access

When the paid period ends:

  • Access to all features is disabled

  • No data is deleted (unless required by the User or legal request)

  • The User may resume full access by manually purchasing a new subscription


6.2 Failure to Complete Payment

If a User attempts to purchase but the payment fails:

  • No subscription is activated

  • AQURIX will notify the User to update their payment method

  • The User may retry payment at any time


6.3 Compliance-Driven Restrictions

AQURIX may restrict access if required by:

  • KSA laws

  • Regulatory institutions

  • Financial compliance controls

  • Anti-fraud requirements



7. Refund Policy


7.1 General Rule

All subscription payments made to AQURIX are non-refundable, except in specific situations detailed below.
This reflects standard digital service practices and compliance with Saudi e-commerce laws.


7.2 Eligible Refund Cases

A refund may be granted only under the following circumstances:

(a) Duplicate Transaction

If the User was charged more than once for the same subscription.

(b) Incorrect Billing Amount

If a payment was captured incorrectly due to a technical processing error.

(c) Payment Captured but Service Not Activated
If the User paid but the subscription was not enabled due to a system malfunction.
(d) Unauthorized Transaction

If a payment was made without the User’s authorization, confirmed through internal verification.

(e) Extended Service Outage

If AQURIX experiences a complete platform outage exceeding 72 consecutive hours that prevents all users from accessing the service.


7.3 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • User inactivity or lack of use

  • Forgetting to renew manually

  • Change of business needs

  • Misunderstanding of service capabilities after purchase

  • Dissatisfaction with output quality when the system operated correctly

  • Subscription expiration due to non-renewal

  • Situations caused by the User’s hardware, software, or network issues

  • Purchases made by mistake but confirmed by the User at checkout

These rules follow standard digital-goods principles and are compliant with Saudi regulations.


7.4 Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund:

  1. The User must contact AQURIX Support at support@aqurix.co

  2. Provide transaction details (date, amount, last 4 digits of card, invoice ID)

  3. Provide a description of the issue

  4. AQURIX will review the request within 7 business days

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only

  • Processing time may take 15–30 business days, depending on banks and PSPs

AQURIX cannot influence banking or processing delays.



8. Chargebacks and Disputes


8.1 Obligation to Contact Support First

Before initiating a chargeback, the User must:

  • Contact AQURIX Support

  • Allow AQURIX to investigate and resolve the issue


8.2 Unjustified Chargebacks

If a User initiates a chargeback without legitimate grounds:

  • The User’s account may be temporarily or permanently suspended

  • Access may be restricted until the dispute is resolved

  • AQURIX may provide documentation to the bank showing purchase confirmation

This policy protects against fraud and abuse.



9. Fraud Prevention and Verification Requirements

To comply with Saudi financial and cybersecurity regulations, AQURIX may:

  • Request identity verification

  • Request payment method confirmation

  • Temporarily suspend accounts for security checks

  • Monitor irregular or high-risk activity

  • Cooperate with Saudi authorities and payment gateways when required

These measures help maintain platform integrity and protect Users.



10. Data Retention Related to Payments

10.1 Absolute Research Company (AQURIX) does not process, store, collect, or have access to Users’ banking information, credit card numbers, debit card numbers, security codes, digital wallet identifiers, or any other payment credentials.

10.2 All payment-related data — including but not limited to:

  • card numbers,

  • expiration dates,

  • CVV/CVC codes,

  • Mada credentials,

  • Apple Pay / STC Pay tokens,

  • bank account identifiers,
    is processed exclusively by the certified Payment Service Provider (“PSP”) and the acquiring bank integrated with the AQURIX platform.

10.3 The PSP processes payment data in full compliance with:

  • applicable financial and data protection laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,

  • requirements of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA),

  • PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard),

  • security obligations imposed by the acquiring bank.

10.4 AQURIX only receives the following non-sensitive information from the PSP:

  • transaction status (successful/failed),

  • transaction ID,

  • the last four digits of the payment card (masked),

  • metadata required for invoicing and confirming the payment.

This information does not permit AQURIX to view, reconstruct, or use any payment instrument.

10.5 AQURIX retains only the transaction records required for accounting, auditing, fraud monitoring, and regulatory compliance.
These records never include banking data or payment credentials.



11. Processing of Payment Data

11.1 All payment information entered by the User during checkout is transmitted directly to the PSP and processed by the PSP and the acquiring bank.
Absolute Research Company has no ability to see, access, intercept, or store the information submitted through the payment interface.

11.2 The transmission of all payment data is carried out over secure, encrypted channels managed solely by the PSP.
AQURIX does not participate in, control, or oversee the technical processing of payment details.

11.3 The User acknowledges and agrees that:

  • the processing and safeguarding of their banking and payment data is governed exclusively by the PSP’s and acquiring bank’s policies and obligations;

  • if any transaction requires technical investigation involving payment credentials, AQURIX may forward the User’s request to the PSP, but AQURIX itself cannot inspect or verify payment data because it never receives such data.

11.4 The PSP and acquiring bank operate as independent financial service entities and are solely responsible for:

  • storing payment data,

  • securing payment information,

  • complying with Saudi Arabian financial regulations and international security standards.



12. Modification of Policy

Absolute Research Company reserves the right to update or modify this Policy at any time.
Users will be notified of material changes via email or platform announcements.
Continued use of AQURIX after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
